Kick your feet up and join us for an intimate chat with acclaimed actress and singer, Chrissy Metz (otherwise known as Kate on NBC’s “This Is Us”) and Eating Recovery Center’s National Recovery Advocate Kara Richardson Whitely. Be one of the first to hear Chrissy and Kara discuss their exciting new project: the making of a feature film based on Kara’s incredible memoir, “Gorge: My Journey Up Kilimanjaro at 300 Pounds.”

Chrissy will produce and star in the movie which tells the raw story of Kara’s relationship with food, her body, and self-doubt, and her eventual ascent up Mt. Kilimanjaro despite mounting fat bias from those who didn’t believe she’d make it. This session speaks to every person who has struggled with self-image, and tackles life’s challenges with grit to celebrate body positivity.
