Sunnie said it best: “They teach you all these things about raising children, but no one really tells you what to do when your kid doesn’t eat.” Sunnie is a parent of an Eating Recovery Center alum. Her family’s decision for their daughter’s treatment was hard a hard one.

In her story, we take a glimpse at one of the most common struggles that families and caregivers face every day when it comes to deciding when it’s time for a loved one to receive treatment. To Sunnie’s point, “It’s worth it.”

If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder or mood and anxiety disorder, we’re here to help. Visit us online to take a free assessment with a master’s level-clinician.
